The data of the State Statistics Service shows that in January-April 2021 in Ukraine, compared to last year, the production of milk from all types of farm animals decreased by 5% - to 2.52 million tons (2.67 million tons in the same period of 2020).
At dairy farms, milk production fell by 0.5% to 902.7 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2020. But the situation is more critical in households, where production fell by as much as 7.5% to 1.6 million tons against 1.75 million tons last year.
