According to the statistics of the State Customs Service, during the period from January to August of this year, Ukraine exported abroad meat of cattle (cattle) in the amount of 51.73 million US dollars. If we talk about natural terms, then we are talking about 15.05 thousand tons of beef.
Fresh / chilled cattle meat from January to August was delivered abroad 1.55 thousand tons for $ 4.5 million. The following beef is imported from Ukraine:
- • Belarus - 84.34% of the total volume, respectively, 1,464 tons for $ 4.25 million;
- • Azerbaijan - 3.22%, 50 tons for $ 145,000;
- • Turkey - 1.89%, 29 tons for $ 85 thousand;
- • Other states - 0.56%, 9 tons for $ 25 thous.
Frozen beef in January-August was exported abroad 13.5 thousand tons for $ 47.21 million. Among the importers:
- • China - 25.44% of the total volume, respectively 3.43 thousand tons for $ 12 million;
- • Azerbaijan - 22.53%, 3.04 thousand tons for $ 10.64 million;
- • Kazakhstan - 17.10%, 2.3 thousand tons for $ 8.08 million;
- • Other states - 34.92%, 4.71 thousand tons for $ 16.49 million.
