Indicators of export of Ukrainian pork have increased. This was discussed in the report of the Association "Pig Breeders of Ukraine". According to the report, in January-August, 1.85 thousand tons of meat were exported abroad, with a total cost of $ 4.2 million. Compared to this period of last year, this is 31% more. The Association also informs that the volume of revenue increased by at least one third.
“Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates remain the main routes for selling Ukrainian pork. For example, if last year about 50% of cargo with pork went there, then this year the total weight of these sales markets increased to 80%. It should be noted that the amount of supplies to the UAE increased by 2.25 times, and to Hong Kong - by 1.6 times compared to the results of 2 quarters of 2019, - the Association notes.
