The State Customs Service of Ukraine reports that Ukraine exported 49.77 thousand tons of eggs during the period January-May 2020. This is a quarter less than the same period last year (65.95 thousand tons).
In monetary terms, in January-May 2020, the export of eggs of Ukraine lost 18%, compared with the same period of the previous year. It was 56.95 million dollars, and now has become - 46.76 million dollars.
United Arab Emirates for May 2020 imported 2.64 thousand tons of eggs from Ukraine (+ 23%). Latvia imported 0.61 thousand tons + 14%. Saudi Arabia increased eggs’ import from Ukraine up to 7.02 thousand tons, that is more in 1.7 times.
