In May 2020, compared to April, the price of eggs increased the most - by 16.6%, data from the State Statistics Service.
In the second place are fruit, the price rose by 15.8%. The price of cereals, rice, fish products, vegetables increased by 2.3-0.8%.
The price decreased for meat products, by 1.6%, for oil by 1%, sugar by 0.8%, sunflower oil - by 0.7%, and milk - by 0.2%.
The main buyers of Ukrainian eggs from January to May of the current month:
- UAE - 14.2 thousand tons, with a total value of 13.34 million dollars (28.54%);
- Saudi Arabia imported 11.12 thousand tons, with a total value of 10.44 million dollars (22.34%);
- Latvia imported 5.05 thousand tons, with a total value of 4.74
Million dollars (10.14%);
Ukraine exported 19.4 thousand tons to other countries, with a total value of 18.23 million dollars (38.98%).
