According to the State Statistics Service, since January of this year prices have become lower for:
- meat products - by 0.9%;
- vegetable oil (sunflower) - by 0.2%;
- eggs - 22.1%.
Other products of the “social” basket have risen in price:
- bakery products - 4.2%;
- granulated sugar - 7.6%;
- fish products - 1.1%;
- butter - 0.6%.
The price of fresh fruit has risen (by 19.8%) and vegetables (by 14%).
In Ukraine, poultry has the lowest price compared to other types of meat.
According to IA “UNN”, the price of chicken in Ukraine is lower than in the European Union by 30%.
