According to the SFS, as of November 1, 2019, Ukraine increased the export of eggs by 34%, which amounted to 117.6 thousand tons.
If we talk about the money equivalent, it is about $ 94 million. For the same period of last year, this figure was $ 76 million.
The main importers of Ukrainian-made eggs:
- UAE - 30 thousand tons ($ 23.96 million);
- Iraq - 16.7 thousand tons ($ 13.29 million);
- Virgin Islands (Britain) - 12.02 thousand tons ($ 9.59 million);
- Other countries - 58.88 thousand tons ($ 46.99 million).
Ukraine also imported eggs to the domestic market. For 10 months of 2019, this figure amounted to 4.5 thousand tons. This is 26 times less than exports over the same period.
