In 2019, Ukrainian exporters of chicken meat are rapidly increasing the volumes of their products.
According to statistics for 8 months of 2019 export amounted to about 90 thousand tons, which indicates an increase of 4.1% compared to the same period of the last year.
To date, Ukraine has taken the third place after Thailand and Brazil in the export of chicken to the EU countries.
For 8 months of 2019, Thailand exported poultry meat in the amount of 215.5 thousand tons (+ 5.5%), Brazil - 215.2 thousand tons (+ 12.5%).
Over the past few years, Ukrainian chicken exporters have been the main suppliers of poultry meat to the EU countries. U.S. experts claim a big leap in boosting chicken exports in 2019 and forecast a figure of 400 thousand tons.
