In the 1st half of 2019 Export of Ukrainian goods to European markets has increased to 42%

“Summing up the results of the first half of 2019, we noted that the share of exports of Ukrainian goods to the countries of the European Union has increased to 42%," S. Kubiv said.

“Over the past 3 years, we have been able to redirect our exports from the Russian market to the markets of the European Union, while increasing supplies to Asia, Africa, and America. At present, European markets account for about 42% of all Ukrainian exports, Russia - only 6%, and this percentage is constantly decreasing.

If compared with 2013, then about 24% of all product were exported to the Russian Federation. In the context of industrial production, this share was almost 30%. If we talk about the monetary equivalent of the export of Ukrainian products to Asia, then in 2018. this figure amounted to $ 13.7 billion, exports to Africa amounted to $ 4.1 billion,” S. Kubiv said.
