The experts of the European Union who conducted the audit confirmed the qualification level of employees of the The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection. Therefore, this level complies with all EU requirements.
It is worth noting that at the moment only those domestic producers who comply with all the requirements of European legislation are entitled to supply food. The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection notes that Europeans regularly check the production capacities of these market operators.
Important is the fact that more than 3 years ago, Ukraine signed a strategy, which consists of about 250 acts of the European Union. In this strategy, the rules that should be met and monitored by our specialists are spelled out: PPS (sanitary and phytosanitary standards), health and well-being, environmental protection etc.
The service also clarifies that according to the action plan for the implementation of the Association Agreement, which was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 25.11.2017 No. 1106, the PPS strategy is included.
Auditors believe that The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection provides high quality control over the production of poultry meat and poultry products, therefore, the products of domestic producers meet all the requirements of the European Union.
