Over the past three weeks, analysts of the Ukrainian Horticultural Association have recorded a smooth drop in prices for domestic tomatoes, and there are several key aspects that contribute to this development.
First of all, in Ukraine there is a permanent demand for this product, a steady increase in the number of tomatoes on the market contributes to the constant revision of prices by sellers downward, thereby activating the speed of sales. And the second, no less important aspect, is the stable purchase of tomatoes on the domestic market, which grown in Poland and Turkey.
If you look at the numbers, then at the end of last week, imported tomatoes in Ukraine are offered from 23 UAH per kg, and local products are offered from 26 UAH per kg.
