The export of Ukrainian fresh-frozen berries to the foreign market is gaining momentum.
Summing up the past year, these products (blueberry) were exported to China for the amount $ 2,000,000, which is 10 times more than in 2016, and by 1/5 more than in 2017.
Ukraine overtook Poland and entered in the top 10 exporters of fresh-frozen fruits and berries to China. Despite the fact that the production of frozen raspberries and strawberries has increased significantly over the previous few seasons, China did not buy these berries from our country.
The positive trend in the supply of domestic berries to the Chinese market is gaining momentum, although China also exports these products in large volumes. Despite this, in recent seasons, China has become a major importer of European berries. Every year, China buys this product from other countries in the amount of $ 225,000,000, and sells it for $ 197,000,000.
