Ukraine became a leader among European producers of duck meat.
Even if we take into account the fact that almost 25 years productivity was in stagnant period or actively reduced. According to the statistics, for every inhabitant of our country there is approximately 0.5-0.7 kg. of duck meat.
If consider the price policy, we can make a conclusion that the duck`s meat is on several times more expensive (approximately on 25-30 percent) then chicken meat.
At this time, due to the increase in prices, a larger percentage of the population of Ukraine can not afford to pamper themselves with young duck meat, but choose a more budget option.
Considering all useful substances, duck meat will undoubtedly prevail (due to the presence of a sufficient number of unsaturated fatty acids, which prevent many diseases), but the cost of this product does not yet allow "to improve the health" of every Ukrainians.
