Easter 2017 brings us not only religious holiday, but growth of prices for foodstuffs, and meat, inclusive.
Special rise in price scored a pork, which in March added value of 2-3%, and did not stop on it, according to a statement of the State statistics. Poultry and beef are opposite – almost not changed its value. If compare 2016 and 2017, this year prices on meat increased to 18%.
According to the European Commission, the price situation in the European Union is slightly different from the Ukrainian. In the past year, the price increased only on pork (an increase to 22%), the cost of a kilogram of beef has not changed, but poultry meat on the contrary fell by 2% in average.
Also, on increasing of prices for meat and meat products as a result, has affected rise in price of concentrated feed, which jumped in price by up to 10% in dollar terms over the past year.
According to forecasts, the price of pork will still rise for some time. This is evidenced by the balance of supply and demand.
